The House That Silk Built

Gulatis began in 1966 as a single textile counter on Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman — a length of real silk, cut by hand, sold to women who knew the difference. Sixty years on, we are a sixteen-outlet silk house, still family-run, still cutting from our own cloth.

The looms have changed; the discipline has not. We weave and finish the silk ourselves, then bead and cut it for the way you actually dress — covered, considered, and quietly grand. Fabric first. Everything else follows.
